ANPA welcomes the initiative of the pharmaceutical monitoring system platform

On Monday, Mouadh Tabainet, President of the National Association of Algerian Pharmacists (ANPHA), welcomed the launch of the national watch and alert system platform for the supply of pharmaceutical products, presented by the Minister High Commissioner for Digitization, Meriem Benmouloud.

Tabainet, President of ANPHA, welcomes the creation of a centralized national platform by the Haut-Commissariat à la numérisation, a "major step forward" in coordinating fragmented efforts in the pharmaceutical sector. However, he points to major challenges: the absence of clear regulatory texts, the definition of essential products and the management of stock-out reports. Tabainet insists on the importance of an international strategic vision and anticipation in supply management, considering dependencies on raw materials and imports. Involving all stakeholders, such as doctors and pharmacists, is crucial to the effectiveness of this platform, which must guarantee greater transparency and reliable access to data. The ultimate aim is to achieve tangible improvements in meeting citizens' healthcare needs.
