Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan: Algeria wins silver for best exterior stand design

At Expo 2025, the world's fair held in Osaka, Japan, Algeria won the silver medal for best exterior stand design, announced Abdellah Bougandoura, commissioner for Algeria's participation in the event, on Sunday.

At the closing ceremony of the Expo Osaka 2025 international exhibition, Algeria won a prestigious award in the category of exterior design of individual stands, among 167 participating countries. The Algerian stand, inspired by zellige mosaics and designed around the theme “The Light of Algeria,” was praised for its originality. Algeria's participation, supported by several ministries and national companies, showcased the country's cultural, economic, and civilizational dimensions through sectoral exhibitions, investment conferences, and artistic performances reflecting the richness of the national heritage.
