The meeting, which brought together Sonelgaz CEO Mourad Adjal and the German delegation led by Bosch Africa CEO Markus Thill, "was an opportunity for both parties to express their willingness to establish a fruitful and serious partnership between the Algerian group and the Bosch group, a leader in several fields, including power tools, household appliances, industrial technologies and artificial intelligence (AI)", the same source states.
During the meeting, which took place at the group's headquarters in the presence of several of its key executives and the Director General of the Algerian-German Chamber of Commerce, Blank Oliver, Mr Adjal expressed Sonelgaz's interest in cooperating with Bosch in areas that would enhance the public group's performance and technological tools.
He added, "Sonelgaz has strategic partnerships with major international economic operators. Today, it is open to cooperation with the German group as part of a win-win partnership".
Referring to the "Bosch" group's experience in its field of competence, notably AI and modern technological solutions, Mr Oliver expressed "the group's willingness to cooperate with Sonelgaz by transferring its significant expertise and pioneering experience in many fields, including advanced industrial technologies".
At the end of the meeting, "it was agreed to set up a joint working group to examine possible opportunities for cooperation between the two parties, studying their areas of expertise and devising an effective and workable partnership approach in the field, in line with Sonelgaz's area of competence", concludes the press release.
