"A year ago, we committed to produce compressors locally. Today, we've taken that step," he asserted. Condor has an annual production capacity of 4.7 million refrigerators, of which 3 million are destined for export.

The Condor group presented important innovations for the national economy at the 32nd edition of the Algerian Production Fair (FPA), which opened last Thursday at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes in Algiers.

Two new series of these machines were previewed, reflecting the company's efforts to strengthen local integration and international competitiveness.

The Group also announced the launch of a production unit for recyclable aluminium radiators. This project carried out in partnership with an Italian company, plans to produce 7 million units for the local market and 3 million for export.

"We have invested in cutting-edge recycling, extrusion and die-casting technologies to guarantee impeccable quality", says Mr Daas.

Condor plans to build a plant to produce air conditioners under the Hisense brand. Commissioning is scheduled for early 2026 with an annual production capacity of two million units, 80% of which will be exported.

“This project is strategic for our economy. It will strengthen local supply, and position Algeria as a key player in the global air conditioning equipment market”, explained Mr. Daas.
