During a national day organized by the Regional Pharmacists' Association (SORP) in Algiers, Prof. Kamel Sanhadji, President of the National Health Safety Agency (ANSS), emphasized the importance of establishing a lasting culture of quality in the production and regulation of medicines. He insisted on compliance with international standards, particularly ISO certifications, and on the need to focus all efforts on the patient. Prof. Elhadia Mansouri, from the Ministry of Health, pointed out that quality is now a key pillar of health safety and the effectiveness of the healthcare system. For her part, Dr Imène Belabbas, Director of Production at the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry, explained that the ongoing reform aims to adapt the regulatory framework to the sector's growth, with three priorities: clarifying rules, regulating industrial practices, and supporting establishments in upgrading and exporting.
