School supplies: Towards the creation of production hubs

On Saturday, the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) announced plans to create production clusters for school supplies to boost development in this sector.

During his visit to the Foire de la Production Algérienne (FPA) (Algerian Production Fair), Mr Rekkache, Director of the Agence Algérienne de Promotion de l'Investissement (AAPI), (Algerian Investment Promotion Agency) announced that the agency is focusing its efforts on creating clusters dedicated to the production of school supplies. This initiative responds to the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to achieve self-sufficiency and reduce imports in this strategic sector.

 

Rekkache affirmed that the AAPI will assist public and private companies wishing to invest in this field, by supporting projects aligned with national priorities. The aim is to encourage economic operators to strengthen industrial integration and develop competitive local production.
