Vocational training: better adapted to the needs of the job market

The Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Yacine El Mahdi Oualid, has highlighted his sector's efforts to align training provision with labor market requirements.

At the "Saat Hiwar" virtual conference organized by the Higher Council for Youth, Minister Oualid presented his department's action plan, focusing on adapting training to the job market needs. He emphasized the modernization of information systems, the revision of training offers and the integration of new specialities. The digital transition and creation of "centres of excellence" are among the priorities for improving training quality. The Minister also announced the launch of the Olympiades des métiers by the end of the year, to showcase emerging talent. Mustapha Hidaoui supported this move to boost young people's employability.
