“Towards the end of 2023 or early 2024, the important project of connecting Naftal center of El Eulma to Skikda via El Khroub (Constantine) will be received,” he said.

Chafi says the project will eventually “facilitate the transportation of fuel and pave the way for the launch of a similar project to transport fuel from El Eulma to Bouira as part of the country’s higher authorities’ strategy to achieve 30 day-fuel self-sufficiency instead of 20 days currently.”
