Towards the organization of a fair for Algerian products in Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, held bilateral talks yesterday, Tuesday, in Geneva, Switzerland, with the Saudi Minister of Commerce, Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, with whom he discussed the possibility of organizing a fair for Algerian products in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement from the ministry.

On the sidelines of the 16th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Algerian Minister Rezig met with his Saudi counterpart in the presence of the ambassadors of both countries to Switzerland. Discussions focused on strengthening economic relations between Algeria and Saudi Arabia. The two parties agreed to organize reciprocal trade fairs to promote their national products and encourage partnerships between economic operators.

They also decided to arrange a meeting between businesspeople from both countries, as well as an exchange of economic delegations, to explore new investment opportunities and expand areas of cooperation. The ministers stressed the importance of leveraging the economic potential of their respective countries. They expressed their willingness to continue bilateral coordination, in line with the guidelines of their leaders, to establish a lasting strategic partnership.
