The meeting, which was held upon Prime Minister's directives, was devoted to "examining ways of reinforcing the export of Algerian household appliances, particularly in large shopping centers, by ensuring after-sales service", the statement said.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), Kamel Moula, accompanied by heads of companies active in the household appliance industry, representatives of the Banque d'Algérie (BA) and the General Directorate of Customs (DGD), and President of the National Association of Algerian Exporters (ANEXAL), Tarek Boulmerka, according to the same source.
The challenges facing exporters were also discussed, with a view to boosting exports of Algerian household appliances, particularly in view of "the high demand for several Algerian brands in a number of international markets, thanks to the quality of their products and their compliance with standards", concludes the press release.
