The government is studying a report on the assessment of housing policy

The report, presented by the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, "highlighted the significant efforts made by the State to ensure citizens' access to housing, particularly for underprivileged people, with the construction of nearly 3 million units, all types combined, during the period 2010-2021, i.e. an annual average of 270,000 units", according to the same source.

These achievements "required the mobilization of nearly 5,000 billion DA from the State budget, i.e. an annual average of 456 billion DA, of which more than 2,500 billion DA for social housing (51%) and 1,326.97 billion DA for the hire-purchase category (AADL)".
