Six types of lubricants and automotive oils are authorized for import

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Market Regulation has granted industrial operators authorization to import six types of lubricants and automotive oils, which were previously reserved exclusively for the Naftal company. This measure aims to stabilize the domestic market and meet industrial demand.

It should be noted that this decision follows the instructions of the coordination meeting held on August 14, which stated that Naftal does not have the required quantity and characteristics.

According to correspondence issued by the ministry's general secretariat dated August 25, allowing products to be imported for use as production inputs under certain conditions, and authorizing the introduction of quantities registered before July 15, 2025. This is to avoid market instability in vital industrial sectors and prevent any potential disruption to supply.
