A Mauritanian company has recently obtained ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in the field of petroleum product analysis. The award was presented at a meeting organized by ALGERAC to mark World Accreditation Day. The event also celebrated ALGERAC's 20th anniversary, and singled out 22 organizations that had completed their accreditation between June 2024 and June 2025. An agreement was signed with the AFYE Foundation to facilitate access to accreditation for young SMEs. The Minister of Industry stressed that accreditation is a strategic lever for competitiveness and consumer protection, aligned with the Algerian President's vision. Since 2009, ALGERAC has accredited 163 organizations. Accreditation is a key tool for reinforcing quality, opening up new markets for SMEs and establishing the credibility of national products on the international stage.
