Mr. Arkab receives SG of Arab Iron and Steel Association: Developing the industry

Held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy, in the presence of the CEO of Manadjim Eldjazaïr (MANAL)Mining Industry Group, the meeting provided an opportunity to review the main activities of AISA as well as the state and prospects of the iron and steel industry on an Arab and international scale, said the communiqué.

Mr. Arkab emphasized "the need to consolidate inter-Arab cooperation in this field and to join efforts to further develop this sector in the Arab world". The minister of the sector proposed that Algeria be represented on AISA’s board of directors by Manadjim Eldjazaïr (MANAL) Mining Industry Group, added the document.

The Minister of Energy also stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and developing human resources to meet pressing needs, including training. It should be reminded that AISA is an Arab non-governmental organization under the Council of the Economic Union of the Arab League, whose permanent headquarters are in Algiers.
