National Association of Traders and Craftsmen appeals to “Invest in school supplies”.

On Saturday in Algiers, Hadj Tahar Boulenouar, President of the National Association of Traders and Craftsmen (ANCA), called on economic operators, importers of school supplies to start manufacturing them.

In a press conference, Boulenouar underlined the conditions favourable to this option. He pointed out that the current situation was conducive to boosting local production of school supplies, citing in particular “an improved investment climate and a buoyant market”. Noting the qualitative leap recorded over the last five years in the national production of school supplies, the ANCA Chairman considered this trend to evolve in the short and medium term. He also welcomed the measures taken by the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion to ensure the availability of products at affordable prices, in particular the timely granting of import licenses and the organization of fairs dedicated to school supplies.
