Lafarge Algeria: export of nearly 1.7 million tons of products in the first half of 2023

Lafarge Algérie added that “it exported nearly 1.7 million tons of products, 39% of which were finished “cement” products, worth more than 80 million US dollars.” It said that “these figures far exceed the export sales of the previous year over the same period.”

 

At the same time, efforts are being made in the local market, by offering innovative solutions such as CHAMIL™ ECOPlanet, Algeria’s first low-carbon “green” cement, AIRIUM™, a thermal insulation solution for buildings, and ARDIA™, an innovative solution for road construction and renovation. The Group has stepped up its efforts to export to new and more competitive markets on five continents. These exports were made from several Algerian ports, with the crucial support of the central, port, customs and P.A.F. authorities.
