Iris Algérie bets on innovation: 4 new products to reinvent the TV experience
In Algeria, where demand for modern entertainment technology is booming, Iris Algérie is making a big splash by launching four new series of televisions equipped with Google TV.
Affirming its determination to remain at the cutting edge of innovation, the group is distinguishing itself with models with evocative names: Portable TV, Wallpaper TV, Music TV, and Gaming TV, which are designed to offer a tailor-made experience, meeting the specific expectations of Algerian households. But what makes these TVs truly unique?
Portable TV... a whole concept
The first product to be presented to the press on Monday at the Marriott Hotel in Algiers is the G4030P portable TV. Designed for nomadic users or those in need of an easily transportable TV, it will soon be available in stores in two sizes: 24" and 32". Today, prices remain unknown, but the Group's Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Djamel Guidoum, assures they will be accessible to Algerian budgets. This promise also extends to the other four TV sets in the new range. Technical features include a built-in battery for the 24” model, which lasts three hours, and an external battery for the 32” model. As for quality, Iris Group TV Product Manager Adlène Amoura was keen to point out that its portability does not compromise its performance, with an emphasis on versatility, thanks to its compatibility with 12-volt recharging terminals.
Wallpaper TV... a work of art
The second innovation on the show is the Z8030, also known as the Wallpaper TV. This bold concept is aimed at fans of minimalist design. With a thickness of just 3 cm, this TV hangs on the wall like a painting. Equipped with QLED technology, it guarantees superior picture quality, while its ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness for optimal viewing comfort, as highlighted by the Iris team. With 4K UHD resolution and vibrant colours, the Z8030 fits perfectly into modern living rooms where aesthetics and performance meet. What's more, the TV features the Art Time application, which offers a gallery of licensed images, reinforcing its role as a sophisticated decorative element.
Music TV or karaoke TV
After portability, elegance and finesse, now it's time for entertainment. In this area, the Group unveils two new televisions as a veritable revolution for the Algerian market. The first of these is the S9030, nicknamed Music TV: "It's much more than a conventional TV set", says Adlène Amoura, adding that this model is designed for sharing moments with family and friends. It combines a MiniLED screen with an advanced audio system featuring a sound bar, six speakers and a subwoofer. Its special feature? An integrated karaoke function, where the remote control itself transforms into a microphone, allowing you to sing directly into the TV. In addition, Local Dimming technology optimizes contrasts to ensure a striking picture, the device's built-in artificial intelligence adds an extra dimension, even allowing you to modify the broadcast content during streaming.
Gaming TV for video game lovers
The latest innovation from Iris is the Q7700PRO, nicknamed Gaming TV, a TV specially designed for video game enthusiasts. Featuring a 144 Hz refresh rate, ALLM and VRR technologies to reduce latency and ensure optimum fluidity, and HDMI 2.1 connectivity gamers will love this model, its QLED screen combined with MEMC technology guarantees a crisp screen combined with MEMC technology guarantees crisp, fluid fast-motion sequences, whether in video games or action movies, says the Iris team. The 2.1.2-channel audio system completes the experience by offering immersive sound, making this TV a perfect ally for the latest-generation consoles. According to the Iris team, the Q7700PRO is the first TV truly dedicated to gaming on the Algerian market. “Unlike currently available products, often marketed as suitable for gaming, the Q7700PRO offers a genuine 144 Hz refresh rate, not artificially boosted.”
Beyond the specific features of these models, Iris is emphasizing its bet on cross-cutting innovations to appeal to Algerian consumers. All televisions, provided with Google TV, offer fast, intuitive access to streaming platforms and applications. Among the practical features, Find My Remote solves a common problem: easily finding the remote control thanks to a button integrated into the TV. In addition, Eye Care 3.0 technology protects the eyes by reducing blue light and eliminating flicker, ensuring more comfortable viewing. Finally, the Matte Screen reduces glare, even in brightly lit rooms.
