Industry: President Tebboune orders the commissioning of three major plants

On Sunday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, presiding over a Council of Ministers meeting, insisted on “accelerating the re-commissioning of the Adrar cement plant, recovered by the State as part of the fight against corruption”.

The Head of State ordered the Minister of Industry to do his best to restart the plant before the end of March 2025, because, he maintained, “in addition to supporting national cement production, this will create jobs in the region.

The President also ordered the acceleration of the completion of all technical stages before the commissioning of the Djelfa cement plant, as well as the completion of all procedures for the commissioning of the oilseed crushing plant (Ketama) in Jijel by the end of next May.
