"This operation reflects a strong desire to bring together two emblematic Algerian brands that are major players in the country's economic influence", emphasizes Hamoud Boualem in an official press release.

By joining forces, the two beverage gems aim to preserve local know-how while breathing new life into the Rouiba brand. The alliance is also expected to enhance the industrial and logistical capabilities of both entities through sustainable synergies.

Founded in 1878, Hamoud Boualem has forged a reputation for excellence through its emblematic products such as Selecto and Slim. The merger with NCA Rouiba - a family business founded in 1966 by the Othmani family - is part of a shared growth strategy that respects the brands' identities.

"We are committed to preserving the brands that shape our country's identity. Above all, this alliance reflects a strong commitment to building a path of trust together, in the service of consumers and the development of local industry", declared Abdenour Houaoui, CEO of Hamoud Boualem.

In an increasingly competitive economic context, this strategic union is intended to reinforce a solid, ambitious and innovation-driven Algerian industrial model.
