Vocational training: Agreement with German agency GIZ to improve the employability of graduates

An agreement was signed on Monday in Algiers between the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ). The project (AEDA II) aims to improve the employability of vocational training graduates.

The signing of the agreement between Algeria and Germany was attended by the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Yacine El Mahdi Oualid, and the German Ambassador to Algeria, Georg Felsheim. The agreement aims to strengthen German-Algerian cooperation in vocational training, drawing on German expertise to modernize teaching methods and improve training quality.

The project covers several areas, including the development of digital training, the updating of curricula and the adoption of modern teaching techniques. It aims to increase the employability of graduates by adapting training to the job market needs and integrating digital learning methods.

The Minister underlined the importance of this initiative in increasing the rate of professional integration, encouraging entrepreneurship and accelerating the sector's digital transformation. For his part, the German ambassador welcomed the cooperation and recalled the key role of vocational training in economic development.
