ENIE of Sidi Bel Abbes: Promising prospects for investment in new technologies

The Entreprise Nationale des Industries Electroniques (ENIE) (National Electronic Industries Company ) in Sidi Bel Abbes has drawn up an action plan for 2025, as part of the national strategy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to support new technologies and digitization, Mohamed Abbas Bourassi, Chairman and CEO of this state-owned company, told APS.

ENIE is intensifying its efforts to diversify its electronics production and meet the domestic market's needs. The company focuses on electronic payment terminal manufacturing, with an application under development to enhance its functionality. The company continues to produce tablets for the education sector, with 48,000 units supplied last year. ENIE is investing in renewable energies, notably solar street lighting and photovoltaic panels for agricultural irrigation. Production of televisions and household appliances (air conditioners, washing machines) is due to be relaunched, with sales outlets due to reopen gradually from mid-Ramadan, with a reinforced after-sales service. The company also plans to relaunch its production units in Telagh, Ras El Ma and Aïn Oussera to diversify its investments.
