Completion of Mila-Jijel pipeline "before the end of October"

The work of the pipeline project from the locality of Hamala in Mila to Djimla in the province of Jijel on a linear of almost 54km "will be completed at the end of October next which will allow to increase the level of natural gas coverage in Mila", said the same official in a statement to the press outside a working session held with the authorities ofprovince at the headquarters of the cabinet of the province of Mila.

Currently, the province-wide gas coverage rate is around 65% and will be increased to 80% after completion of the remaining projects under way to supply this energy, according to Adjal.

The province of Mila has benefited from several important development projects whose construction work will be launched "before the end of the year", Mr. Adjal mentioned as an example the 30/60 kilovolte electricity transmission station at the "Bougrana" industrial zone in Chelghoum Laid south of Mila, as part of the encouragement offered by the State to the investors supporting them to materialize their projects and create wealth and jobs.

It is also the project to strengthen the Ferdjioua power transformer with a view to increasing its capacity from 80 to 140 megawatts in addition to other projects in the municipalities of Mila and Oued Segane, he added, stating that all these projects will be put into operation "before the end of 2023".
