CAAR: net profit of 1.03 billion dinars in 2024

The Compagnie algérienne d'assurance et de réassurance (CAAR) (Algerian Insurance and Reinsurance Company) closed the 2024 financial year with a net profit of 1.03 billion dinars, according to the minutes of its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

At the close of the meeting, shareholders approved the company's financial statements for the past year, which showed total assets of 53.1 billion dinars.

Net income was allocated as follows: 52 million dinars to the legal reserve and 979 million dinars to retained earnings, according to the same source.
