BNA: Net income of over 48 billion dinars in 2024

The Banque Nationale d'Algérie (BNA) (National Bank of Algeria) recorded net banking income of over 48 billion DZD for the year 2024, according to a statement from the public banking institution.

BNA closed its financial year with a balance sheet total of DZD 5,807 billion. In the first half of the year, its share capital doubled from DZD 150 billion to DZD 300 billion, strengthening its position as a leading bank and supporting national economic development. This increase will increase its capacity to finance investment and support economic operators in all sectors. With 244 branches, including 15 dedicated to Islamic finance, and over 108 specialized counters, the bank covers 54 wilayas and plans to expand into the remaining four. BNA is also banking on the diversification of its offerings and digitalization.
