Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS): Export of 22,000 Tons of Steel Billets to Italy

Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) exported 22,000 tons of steel billets to Italy on Tuesday, as announced by the Annaba Port Authority, which handled the operation.

The cargo was loaded onto the vessel “FLORA”, the company said, adding that it had mobilised all its human and material resources to ensure the operation ran as smoothly as possible.

She explained that she had therefore provided the operator with all the necessary assistance to speed up the loading process and ensure the ship’s departure as soon as possible.

The Annaba Port Authority has stated that, through these operations, it “reaffirms its ongoing commitment to supporting national exports, bolstering the national economy and enhancing the competitiveness of Algerian products in international markets”.
