Sonatrach, towards new collaborations with Canadian companies

The national oil company, Sonatrach, may enter into new collaborations with Canadian companies in the near future. This is according to a statement released by the Canadian Embassy in Algeria on Tuesday.

"Ambassador Robin Wettlaufer had the pleasure of meeting with Sonatrach's CEO to discuss Canadian companies' participation in Sonatrach's efforts to optimise costs and reduce emissions," the Canadian diplomatic mission wrote in its press release.

"New collaborations could be explored at the Global Energy Show, which will be held in Calgary from 10 to 12 June," she added.
