Oran hosts the “Mecanica Algeria” trade show
From February 10 to 12, the city of Oran will host one of Algeria's major industrial events with the organization of the “Mecanica Algeria” trade show.
This event stands out for the presence of major groups specialising in vehicle manufacturing and assembly. The exhibition will also bring together companies operating in related industries, including automotive battery manufacturers and wheel producers.
The Mecanica Algeria trade fair will also see broad participation from major spare parts manufacturers, leading industrial subcontracting companies and vehicle manufacturers. This dynamic aims to strengthen industrial integration and encourage local integration, a central pillar of the automotive industry's development.
Organised under the patronage of the Minister of Industry, with the support of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) and the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), the event has a strong institutional dimension, reflecting the government's interest in structuring and reviving this strategic sector.
The exhibition is expected to attract a record number of certified automotive manufacturing companies, alongside international groups and industrial units specialising in the production of vehicles and components. This participation reinforces Mecanica Algeria's position as a national platform for local operators and foreign partners to meet.
In addition, it will be marked by a high-level official presence and an important announcement concerning the creation of an automotive spare parts sector within the CREA, an initiative aimed at structuring the activity, bringing together operators and strengthening the competitiveness of the national industry.
