A new interministerial order, signed on February 26, sets a maximum deadline of 18 months, from January 15, 2025, for bringing farmland into compliance. This text amends the Order of November 29, 2022, which initially set a deadline of 24 months.

The operation concerns land developed before November 24, 2021, and which is not the subject of litigation. Applications for compliance must be submitted to the wilaya's agricultural services department (DSA). A commission set up by the wali will be responsible for examining the applications and verifying the operation and legal nature of the plots concerned.

Once validated, the director of agricultural services will draw up an order granting the concession and submit it to the wali for signature. The beneficiary must then sign a set of specifications with the Office national des terres agricoles. Finally, the deed of concession will be published by the Cadastre and Land Registry within eight days of its submission by the Domaines department.
