Social security contributions now deducted automatically

The automatic deduction service for social security contributions was officially launched on Thursday in Algiers.

A new direct debit service for social security contributions has been launched in coordination with the Local Development Bank (BDL), to ensure payment withinlegal deadlines and improving the efficiency of the public service. This system applies to contributions due to the CNAS and CACOBATPH, and is part of the national strategy for the complete digitisation of the administration, as desired by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The Minister of Labour, Abdelhak Saihi, emphasised that this digital service aims to simplify procedures, reduce administrative burdens and avoid late penalties for employers. It marks a new stage in the partnership between social security organisations and the banking sector, with a view to transparency, modernisation and mutual trust. An agreement has been signed to this effect, and meetings with the social partners are planned to support this reform process.
