Made in Algeria appeals to Oman: 7 contracts signed to export chocolate, dates, fruits, and vegetables

Algerian companies concluded their participation in the Oman International Exhibition for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, “Oman Agrofood,” held in the Omani capital, Muscat, by signing seven (7) commercial contracts with Omani companies. This success demonstrates the dynamism of national institutions and their ability to develop regional trade partnerships.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, the Algerian pavilion, guest of honour at this year's event, attracted large numbers of visitors and economic operators throughout the fair.

The latter expressed their admiration for the quality of the offering and the diversity of Algerian products, reflecting the level of development achieved by national companies in the agricultural production and food industries sectors.

Oman AgroFood 2025: Algerian products in the spotlight

The last day of the trade show was marked by the signing of seven export trade agreements covering a wide range of domestic products. These included:

-Dates

-Vegetables and fruits

-Chocolate

-Olive oil

-Various food products

This achievement underscores Algerian companies' commitment to expanding their commercial partnerships and consolidating their position in Gulf and international markets.

It should be noted that Algeria's participation in Oman AgroFood 2025 was led by the Minister of Agriculture, Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid, as a guest of honour, to strengthen trade and bilateral cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman in the agriculture, fisheries, and aquaculture sectors.

This initiative is part of efforts to encourage national exports, support economic operators, and bolster government strategies to diversify the national economy and strengthen Algeria's presence in foreign markets. The aim is to open up new opportunities for domestic products and develop economic partnerships.
