Algeria takes part in the 12th International Tourism Fair in Croatia

According to a press release issued by the National Tourist Office (ONAT) on Thursday, Algeria will participate in the 12th edition of the "PLACE 2 GO" International Tourism Fair, to be held in Zagreb (Croatia) from March 28 to 30.

This will be Algeria's second appearance at a major international tourism trade show, having been a guest of honour in 2023, as part of a strategy to raise Algeria's profile as a tourist destination in promising markets. The Algerian delegation includes operators from the sector and the Algerian National Tourist Office (ONAT).

Around 800 exhibitors from 40 countries are expected at this year's show, with some 15,000 visitors expected to attend. Algeria will showcase its rich tourism offering through a dedicated exhibition area, including the projection of promotional films on its natural, cultural, and artisanal sites, with the aim of attracting industry professionals and future visitors.
