AAPI launches biannual magazine “Investment.dz”

ALGIERS - The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has launched the biannual magazine “Investment.dz,” dedicated to promoting the Algerian business climate and highlighting investment opportunities and developments in the economic sector, serving investors, the economic operators, and the Agency's partners.

Published in Arabic and English, this review supports national investment initiatives by presenting an overview of the business climate in Algeria and the legal framework governing investment, an analysis of the major reforms undertaken, and an assessment of the Agency's role in implementing national investment policy.

The magazine covers the Agency's activities and investment news at the national and international levels, providing analysis of key issues affecting the national economy, making it an ideal tool for investors.

In the editorial of the first issue, AAPI Director General Omar Rekkache, stated that the magazine "is not just a media outlet, but a true partner for investors, offering them reliable information, in-depth analysis and specialised reports", emphasising that it "aims to establish itself as a benchmark and a link between investors and the Algerian economy".

The first issue devoted a special report to the legal framework governing investment in Algeria, highlighting the advantages it offers, while providing an overview of the major reforms undertaken and a perspective on the Agency's role in this area.

This issue also includes an article on the High National Commission for Investment Appeals, created to strengthen investor protection and speed up the processing of disputes, as well as analyses of strategic issues, including cooperation between Algeria and the European Union (EU), seawater desalination projects and food security initiatives, particularly those relating to the implementation of major grain storage projects.
