Investment: A new lease of life in Bouira. Investor enthusiasm so far has been tepid.

An acquisition that will give a new lease of life to industrial activity in the wilaya. The wali, who visited this area, said that is a structuring project which is geared to encourage investment and diversification of the economic base of the wilaya. For the time being, in terms of industrialization in this modest area, out of 780 ha, only 275 ha have been retained, the enthusiasm of investors remaining a little tepid. Perhaps that is why the kick-off on Wednesday was limited to the 155 ha lot. Entrusted to the national public works company of Béjaïa, which has extensive experience in this field, the project in question, for an amount of 2,855,796.30 DA and a period of about 12 months, will therefore enter its phase of realization. It will consist of the opening of lanes, public road work and electricity and gas connections. According to the overview given, this large lot was divided into as many small plots ranging from half a hectare to one and several hectares, in order to favour small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large ones.
