IATF 2025: Elec El-Djazair wins contracts worth nearly $200 million

The state-owned group Elec EL-Djazair signed ten commercial agreements worth an estimated $200 million at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025).

Algeria is strengthening its presence in African markets through new export agreements signed by national companies. ENIEM and SONARIC will supply household appliances to Niger, Mauritania, and Mali, while ENIE will export electronic products and telephones to Niger. ELECTRO-INDUSTRIES will supply Niger and Senegal with generators and transformers. According to the Ministry of Industry, these agreements demonstrate the increasing competitiveness of Algerian industry and its significant contribution to African economic development. The ministry reaffirms its support for these strategic initiatives, which bring new export opportunities and strengthen South-South cooperation.
