Algeria – Belarus: signing of several cooperation agreements

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, alongside Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, oversaw the signing of several agreements and memoranda of cooperation between Algeria and Belarus, thereby strengthening bilateral relationships.

Algeria and Belarus have signed several cooperation agreements covering the industrial, health, and agricultural sectors. A memorandum of understanding between the two countries' ministries of industry aims to encourage technology transfer and the development of joint projects. In animal health, an agreement will strengthen disease prevention and health security, thereby supporting the agricultural sector. Finally, a memorandum in the agriculture field will promote the exchange of know-how and the development of innovative practices to strengthen agri-food production. These agreements reflect the two countries' desire to consolidate a strategic and sustainable partnership.
