Yahia Bachir gave these
instructions during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the
Republic of Belarus, Mr Maxim Ryzhenkov, whom he received at his department's
headquarters.
According to a statement from the ministry sanctioning this meeting, the two
parties examined ways to strengthen industrial and economic cooperation between
the two countries and explore new opportunities for joint investment.
Bachir calls for strengthening bilateral cooperation
The Minister of Industry took the opportunity to highlight the strength of the
relationship between Algeria and Belarus, emphasizing the importance of
strengthening bilateral cooperation and translating it into concrete industrial
projects, particularly in the fields of mechanical engineering and agricultural
equipment.
He also reiterated his
ministry's commitment to supporting this momentum and creating conditions
conducive to the success of industrial and technological partnerships,
emphasizing the need to accelerate the pace of coordination between the
relevant companies in both countries.
Belarus shows its willingness
In this context, the statement emphasizes that he gave instructions to form
joint working groups tasked with identifying priority areas for cooperation and
monitoring the implementation of proposed projects on the ground.
For his part, the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs, who was accompanied
by a high-level delegation including the Deputy Minister of Industry, the
Deputy Minister of Health, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in
Algeria, praised the depth of relations between the two countries, affirming
his country's willingness to establish direct partnerships with Algerian
companies, the same source added.
