The Ministry of the Interior, through the Caisse de solidarité et de garantie des collectivités locales, has allocated DA15 billion for the creation of business parks for entrepreneurs and start-ups, following the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Up to date, between 80 and 100 business parks have been completed, while others are in the planning stage.

These zones aim to solve the land problem and support young entrepreneurs. Consideration is given to making these zones available to the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI). The Ministry of the Interior is working aligned with the Ministry of the Knowledge Economy to support young start-ups.

Discussions are underway to develop subcontracting around major projects and steer young people towards profitable investments. The Ministry of the Interior is also mobilizing unused land and entrusting it to the AAPI, which will allocate it according to an evaluation grid.

Lastly, the President's “ shadow zones ” program has enabled 98% of the 30,171 planned projects to be completed, improving living conditions for thousands of citizens by providing access to drinking water, sanitation, electricity and gas, and strengthening educational and road infrastructures.
